Young Professionals Group

The Young Professionals Group (YPG) of Between Friends is a distinguished network of dedicated individuals that supports the efforts and missions of Between Friends to raise awareness regarding domestic violence. The YPG does this through volunteer work, hosting events and building its membership. The Young Professionals Group (YPG) of Between Friends encourages and facilitates professional and social networking through a variety of fun special events and sub-committees.

So, get involved. This is the opportunity to do something about the serious issue of domestic violence while having fun, meeting new people and professionally networking. The YPG is comprised entirely of working professionals from a variety of industries. Therefore, our members are able to interact with other professionals, get enlightened about other professions and even get advice about their own careers. YPG events are well attended by others looking to network. There is always someone to meet and many with whom to chat. By getting involved in a sub-committee of the YPG, members have the opportunity to network with others while putting their skills to work or learning a new one.

As a YPG member you can: gain valuable experiences at a committee or board level; develop your skills in marketing, advertising, special event planning and fundraising; and gain junior board experience.

For more information on joining the YPG, please contact Alison Ferrari, Membership Chair at YPGbetweenfriends@hotmail.com.
